Odelya Bar Yehuda, Architect
Odelya was born on 1979. She is married to Asaf and a mother of 2 children. In 2006 she graduated with honors her B. Arch degree in the Technion's Faculty of Architecture and town-planning. She worked 4 years in the Haifa-based office "Raz Architects" in which she experienced various projects, including urban design, restoration, public buildings and residential buildings. Since 2011 she is a partner in "Helio architects".
We believe that great architecture is a mix. It’s a mix of ideas, textures, views, materials, dreams, gravity and wind loads. but not only. There is a client, and there are users, and neighbors, and passersby. There are regulations and constraints, images and memories, sun and wind and lots of thoughts and questions that you go to bed with. And there is an architect that should be able to take this mix and add some sense, without losing the essence of the genuine mix. Complicated? This is our work, and we love it.

ילידת 1979. נשואה לאסף ואמא לשני ילדים. סיימה בהצטיינות את לימודיה ב-2006 בפקולטה לארכיטקטורה ובינוי ערים בטכניון. עבדה במשרד החיפאי "רז אדריכלים" כ-4 שנים, במהלכן עסקה בעיצוב עירוני, שימור מבנים, תכנון מבני ציבור ובניה פרטית. מ-2011 שותפה במשרד "הליו ארכיטקטים".
רעיונות, טקסטורות, מבטים, חומרים, חלומות, כוח המשיכה ועומס הרוחות; לקוח, משתמשים, שכנים ועוברי אורח; תקנות ומגבלות, תמונות וזכרונות, שמש ורוח, מחשבות ושאלות שהולכים לישון איתן בלילה.
כל אלה עבורנו הם ה"מיקס" של האדריכלות, ותפקידנו ליצוק לו הגיון מבלי שהמרכיבים יאבדו את מהותם. זאת העבודה המורכבת שלנו ואנחנו אוהבים אותה.
